General Photography

I am an active member of the Newbury Camera Club. Currently I am also the Internal Competition Secretary. It is a very friendly club which prides itself in having members of all ages and photographic abilities. During the year, the members enjoy a varied programme of internal, external and inter-club competitions in addition to workshops and visiting guest speakers.

UK Commonwealth War Graves Project

This site is dedicated to all those who have given their lives in the defence of the United Kingdom (my country), our values and our freedom. During my visits to places whilst on holiday, I like to visit church and grave yards and I actively seek out Commonwealth War Graves, memorials and private graves to photograph. I then like to research about the person, their unit/squadron/ship and the place where they are buried and provide links to other sites which can expand the knowledge.

Bertications

What is a Bertication I hear you say?

Bertie is our aged campervan. We bought him in July 2013 as a means of being able to have cheaper holidays in and around the UK which would allow my husband and I the freedom to go pretty much anywhere we wanted to go for our photography.

Over the years we have visited many places, staying on campsites and also wild camping in the mountains of Scotland and Wales.

About Me

I was born in 1963 and am married to Glenn. I work full time but in my spare time my main hobbies are photography and cycling. We often spend our holidays visiting places in the UK in our little campervan. We plan to retire to Yorkshire so that we will be close to the places that we love to visit most.
